With Robert DeNiro announcing that Tribeca will launch a sister film festival in Qatar and the Dubai Film Festival, which I'll be attending, coming up, collaborations between the U.S. film industry and the Middle East are in the news. This week on KCRW's excellent, "The Business," Claude Brodesser-Akner interviews Slamdance-founder Jon Fitzgerald, who launched the Middle East International Festival in Abu Dhabi and discusses the broader topic of Hollywood and the UAE.
